Mommy got this ball for my friend Malachi's birthday. It was my responsibility to perform quality control tests. It works great--bounces, and sounds neat. I wanted one of my own! Posted by Picasa
On Saurday, we went to Mommy and Daddy's friend Ben's wedding. That's him and his new wife, Lisa. Posted by Picasa
Check out that cake. That's a castle on the top, and a horse and carriage at the bottom. It was a theme. Posted by Picasa
I asked Daddy if I could have some wedding cake. He thought it was a great idea, but Mommy said no. Maybe next time... Posted by Picasa

Mommy and I helped out at Space Mission Bible camp last week. It was a lot of fun. We learned that God helps us to be thankful, kind, faithful, and to believe in Jesus. We were planning for about 15 kids to come, and day one, 38 showed up!!! It was a busy week. There were... Posted by Picasa

Today I met a bird named Dixie. She was pretty cool. I let her nibble on my fingers a little, and talked to her a lot. Mom's been telling me for months now that birds say "chirp, chirp," but this one meows like a cat! I just don't know what to believe anymore. Posted by Picasa

My saucer needed a little "tweeking," so I crawled under to take a look. It's working better than ever now! Posted by Picasa

I see the crib as more of a suggestion than a rule. Posted by Picasa

After spending most of my life crying to get someone to move me, I learned how to roll from point A to point B. I thought I was very clever until all my friends started scooting. But yesturday, I figured out another new thing. It's called crawling. I was having a little trouble working it out until Mommy took my pants off. It was rather embarassing, but the end result has been quite rewarding. Posted by Picasa

These arms keep getting stuck under me though. Posted by Picasa

Fun with Burp Rags

Today I decided that burp rags could probably be put to more uses than just cleaning up after me. Turns out they make a quick and easy disguise. This will be handy to know if I ever need to join the witness protection program. Here are a few of the things I came up with:

Do Rag. (This comes in handy when I sneak along on Daddy's motorcycle). Posted by Picasa

Toga. (I really feel as though I could run an empire). Posted by Picasa

Super Hero. (They call me Juicy Boy). Posted by Picasa

Bandit. (And now, I am off to see if I can hep Emma out of her awful fix). Posted by Picasa

Mommy says this is what a ham is. Posted by Picasa

Nine Months Old

I've been out now as long as I was in, and I have to say, begin out certainly has it's advantages. For one thing, I really like food. I didn't know what I was missing getting fed through that tube in Mommy's belly. I had a lemon yesterday, and I don't understand why some people don't like them. It was so yummy, I held on with both hands and attacked that thing like a tazmanian devil. Chunks were flying everywhere!
I also love being outside. All that cozy darkness has it's place, I am sure, but there is nothing like napping in the shade after a nice swim in my red pool. The other night, I woke up pretty mad at about 2:30, so Mommy took me outside and rocked me in the swing. It was pretty great.
I got to do both of my favorite things yesterday. I soaked up some sun while Mommy, Aunt Laila and Kacie and Jewelian picked raspberries. I got to snack on them--yum yum. And I got berry juice all over me so I looked like a bloody mess when I went to see the Doctor for my check up. He seemed a little concerned that the outside of my diaper was red. But Mommy explained it too him, and he understood how irresistible those fresh berries would be.
So here is what we learned at the doctor's office. I weigh 18lbs even and am in the 10th percentile now. I've been in the 5th since I was two weeks old, so I'm moving up in the world. And I'm 27 inches tall. I look very healthy and am, in the words of the doctor, "a ham." Since I don't know what that means, I'll just smile a lot and jump up and down.
I should get my day started now. Mommy is doing story time for the 4th-6th graders at VBS, and she is going to practice on me. I love story time--mainly because I usually get tickled.
